Bert & May's new hexagon tiles collection is tapping into one of this year's biggest micro trends

Hexagon Split Shift is a new collection from Bert & May that taps into the microtrend for hexagon tiles and takes it in an interesting new direction. 

These hexagon tiles come with a twist. The neutral hue and classic six-sided shape has a Scandinavian-inspired contemporary take, with a soft, contrasting edge of color.

This tile allows you to play with the tessellations and create striking lines and angles with the 'split' element. 

If you want to stretch your creativity, these tiles can be laid in a myriad of patterns – forming a random or more uniform effect – to suit your personal style. 

Suitable for floors and walls, the split edge of colour comes in a chalky, complementary palette, so the overall effect of the tiles together, however you choose to lay them, is calm with subtle points of interest. 

Hexagon Split Shift is available in three different colorways with dipped edges; Brighton Stone with a dipped Pearl edge, Brighton Stone with a Portland Stone dipped edge, and Pearl with a dipped Leather edge.

Hexagon Split Shift forms part of Bert & May’s ‘Naked Collection’ of tiles which have been developed for neutral interiors with an air of pared-back sophistication. 

Bert & May’s existing collection of plain hexagon tiles are available in its signature palette of chalky colors, all handmade from natural pigments. 

The palette spans the palest milk yellow and rose pink to rich petrol blue and fennel green with terracotta, old iron black and other muted hues and neutrals in between.

Versatile and timeless, they work well on their own, can be mixed with other colors or the Hexagon Split Shift to create a bespoke patchwork design.
